On this Memorial Day remember those who have died in service to our country. We are standing in front of the panel of The Wall, the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. where my mother’s brother’s name is engraved. I was 10 when he was killed by a land mine. Uncle Buddy left a wife and two small children behind. Our family, like many, knows the sacrifice serving our country is. Please pray for the families who are even now mourning the loss of a loved one.

My dad’s buddy was killed in Vietnam and his wife never spoke of it. Dan’s cousin was killed over there, too. I got scratchings of their names. Sad, but I can’t help but keep our military in prayer and I don’t take my memorial bracelet off except for showers. “UNTIL THEY ALL COME HOME”

that is a cool pic! it’s so cool to know that i have been there! we went there close to evening and it was fun, but sad to see the rememberances that people put at the foot of the wall.
