When Life is Full

November 14, 2015 By Lisa Lewis

When life is full of many good opportunities it’s really easy to have discipline slip off the plate altogether.

Exercise. Blogging. Reading. Laundry. Even having regular food in the house!

Are you helped by routines? I didn’t realize how much I need them until living the past 10 + days without them.  The simple act of getting ready in the morning is different because my stuff is in a cosmetic bag instead of it’s usual place.

I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining. I simply can’t keep moving forward consistently without routines.

I’m looking forward to Monday. Yep, I just said that. I am looking forward to getting back to regular life.

Exercise. Juicing. Reading. Writing. And yes, even grocery shopping.

I’d love to know how you handle life when it’s mostly out of the ordinary.

I could use all the help!

I like routine and I don’t adapt well to change. Right now, I’m just trying to find the joy in this season. Praying you have a blessed week.

I agree Barbie. Change is hard to adapt to for me as well. I didn’t realize I needed to give myself transition time; I did that for my boys but I need it too! So now when we get back from a time away from home I give myself permission to be unplugged and just be. Time without the calendar demands. White space. sigh… Praying for you as well!

i’m not much help. I think i just have to go with the flow and wait til the new normal reappears! teaches me flexibility and living in the present. need help with both! juicing is not a part of either, i’m afraid. (:

You’re always so flexible Sue! I have to learn to be flexible again and again. Oh and we’re doing a 10 day green smoothie cleanse right now!
